Highlights this month…

• Calan goes to Oregon to visit Gran and Grandpa!
• Visits his new baby kitten (adopting in August)
• Does lots of swimming, including his first official lessons, a swim at the Romer’s and a swim party with the Baileys
• Plays in a cool river on a hot day in Oregon
• Goes to the Creswell 4th of July parade
• Stays up late with the grownups watching fireworks
• Visits an amazing clock shop and museum
• Starts potty training

• Nanna and Poppa come to visit from NM!
• Goes on his first “dirt” bike ride
• Visits with A LOT of kittens as we look at getting one:)

• Visits the Camarillo Airplane Museum and stands on a plane wing
• Learns to play “Twinkle Little Star” melody on the piano
• Hangs with his friends Benny and Esten, and a Mom’s Club dinner park date
• Picks blueberries twice at the local farm
• Passes his dental check-up with flying colors
• Makes a trip to see his Great Aunt Billie in Orange County
• Learns where ~10 states are (on a blank map)
• Gets a new basketball and loooves dribbling on the court
• Discovers he REALLY loves to swing on the swing set

A few highlights from this month…

• Starts playing T-ball at the park (when he’s in the right mood!)
• Visits his future pre-school, and sees a petting zoo
• Attends his friend Benny’s 4th birthday party as a “pirate”
• Gets a new pedal bike and helps build it!
• Has a pizza making play-date with his friend Lola
• Gets a new Betta fish named Bob (“Betta Bob”)
• Memorizes most of the lyrics to Twinkle Little Star (5 verses!)
• Continues his new love of puzzles – working on 60 pcs.
• Plays drums with Uncle Brandyn
• Has his buddy Esten over for a BBQ 😉

A few highlights from this month…

• Road his bike two miles on the loooong bike trail
• Endured a 2-week long cold (the cough was the worst!)
• Got really good at completing puzzles all on his own (up to 24-pc, working on 45-pc.)
• Visited with Gran and Grandpa for “Spring Break”
• Got to ride on his first real train!
• Had a fun Easter dyeing eggs and TWO egg hunts
• Sings to himself regularly now while falling to sleep (Twinkle, ABCs, You Are My Sunshine, Little Red Caboose)

A few highlights from this month…

• Learns to balance and glide on his pre-bike (record is 7 seconds)
• Starting to sing ABC song and Twinkle on his own
• Says goodbye to our 1992 Honda (the first car he ever “drove”)
• Visits allergist and discovers his peanut allergy is on the strong side but nuts and fish are ok!
• Hung out with the Levy clan at a Sunday night dinner (ate the most amazing smoked tri-tip and chicken – thanks, Mosh!)
• Got to see cousins Ray and Jocelyn from Seattle again this year

• Draws his first stick figure on the chalkboard all by himself
• Learns to ride is pre-bike after being inspired by his “girlfriend” Leah
• Has a fun play date with Mom’s Club friend Lola
• Bakes cakes with his park friend Jake
• Celebrates Dada’s birthday

• Enjoys a pizza party at home with a couple of girls
• Spends time with Gran and Grandpa during their holiday visit
• Goes to the Santa Barbara Zoo and Solvang
• Survives a pretty nasty peanut allergy reaction, hives and all 🙁
