Just before the Semtech company party on December 14th, Calan stepped into our make-shift video studio at the office. He did a brief interview…however, by the end, he was more concerned with counting the umbrella lights (um-buhbuhs) than actually answering the questions. (Don’t forget to change the quality settings in the lower-right of the video – YouTube plays a low-quality version by default!)

Earlier today we ventured over to Iced Pita to do some projects around the studio. Calan entertained himself all morning, and at one point he asked for a trumpet. I got down an old, dusty horn we use as decoration and handed it to him. I figured he would just carry it around for a minute and maybe pretend to “buzz” on the mouthpiece. Lo and behold, he put it to his face and gave a few short blows. It isn’t pretty by any musical standards, but it’s definitely the cutest (and most surprising) moment this week. 🙂

Calan does a lil’ dance with his two stuffed friends “Ducky” and “Froggy”… then gets confused when not everyone is together. But all is well in the end. 🙂

Calan enjoys a delicious bowl of something really good, but it sounds a lot like something else when he says it. 😉

One of Calan’s favorite things about a car (besides its wheels) is it’s horn, a.k.a. the “Beep”sound. During a recent driving lesson (hehe), he discovers how the car goes “Beep”.
