Gran (a.k.a. “Gran-mama”, “Grandmother”) and Grandpa Yost drove down from Oregon and visited from August 22-27. The whole week was ALLLLLL about Calan of course, with a little bit of time available for cooking, cleaning, and shopping…much of that for Calan, no doubt!
Kidding aside, the grand-parentals really took the load off of us new parents for a few days. We got to catch up on some work, errands and chores around the house. We even had a series of home-cooked meals and got a little extra sleep while the grandparents watched over Calan. Food, sleep and family… is there anything else you need?

However, no baby can ever be as wonderful as Heidi and Ed who are tied for 1st place in precious babies with Calan very close behind! We had a great visit with Heidi and Tyson and then drove to the Bay Area to see Ed.
